E79: All the Ways Money Can Find You

We can get so stuck on how money is going to come to us. “My clients need to pay me.” “I need to make more sales.” “I need to get a better job.” “I need to work harder.” But what if those are just some of the ways money can come to you? In this episode, I want to open up the idea of all the different ways money can find you. It could come through a client, but it could also come through a gift, an inheritance, a refund, an investment, unclaimed property, a random opportunity, someone recommending you, something you sell, an idea you have, or something you completely didn't see coming. And I want to talk about something I think is really important: Money can come THROUGH people without coming FROM people. Your client isn't the source. Your employer isn't the source. Your business isn't the source. They're channels. And when we start separating the source from the channel, I think we can become a lot more open to the possibilities of how money can actually reach us. Because maybe you don't need to know where the money is going to come from. Maybe you just need to stop deciding that you already know. In this episode, we're going to play with that idea and really expand our perception of how money can find us.
